Skill Link causes multi-strike moves to always hit their maximum number of times. The moves affected are listed below; note that moves such as Double Kick that always strike the same number of times are not affected.

- Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold, SoulSilver:Increases the frequency of multi-strike moves.
- Black, White, Black 2, White 2:Increases the frequency of multi-strike moves.
- X, Y, O.Ruby, A.Sapphire:Increases the number of times multi-strike moves hit.
- Sun, Moon, Ultra Sun, Ultra Moon:Maximizes the number of times multi-strike moves hit.
- Sword, Shield, B.Diamond, S.Pearl:Maximizes the number of times multistrike moves hit.
- Scarlet, Violet:Maximizes the number of times multistrike moves hit.
