HM04
HM04 teaches a special move to a compatible Pokémon. HM04 is: Once learned, HM moves cannot be forgotten unless the Pokémon is taken to a Move Deleter located in each region.

- Ruby, Sapphire:Rusturf Tunnel (from Wanda's boyfriend after breaking the rocks)
- FireRed, LeafGreen:Fuchsia City (from Safari Zone Warden after returning his Gold Teeth)
- Emerald:Rusturf Tunnel (from Wanda's boyfriend after breaking the rocks)
- Diamond, Pearl:Lost Tower (5F, from old lady)
- Platinum:Iron Island (from Riley)
- HeartGold, SoulSilver:Route 42 (from Hiker outside Mt. Mortar)
- Black, White:Nimbasa City (west)
- Black 2, White 2:Castelia Sewers (from Hugh)
- X, Y:Cyllage City (from Grant outside gym)
- O.Ruby, A.Sapphire:Route 112 (from Brendan/May)
- Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald:Builds enormous power, then slams the foe.
- FireRed, LeafGreen:The foe is slugged at maximum power. Can also be used to move boulders.
- Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold, SoulSilver:The foe is slugged with a punch thrown at maximum power. It can also be used to move boulders.
- Black, White, Black 2, White 2:The target is slugged with a punch thrown at maximum power. This move can also be used to move boulders.
- X, Y, O.Ruby, A.Sapphire:The target is slugged with a punch thrown at maximum power. This can also be used to move heavy boulders.
- Sun, Moon, Ultra Sun, Ultra Moon:The target is slugged with a punch thrown at maximum power. This can also be used to move heavy boulders.
