HM08

HM08 teaches a special move to a compatible Pokémon. HM08 is: Once learned, HM moves cannot be forgotten unless the Pokémon is taken to a Move Deleter located in each region.

  • Ruby, Sapphire:Mossdeep City (from Steven)
  • Emerald:Mossdeep City (from Steven)
  • Diamond, Pearl:Route 217 (north of Hiker's house)
  • Platinum:Route 217 (north of Hiker's house)
  • HeartGold, SoulSilver:Pallet Town (from Professor Oak after obtaining all 16 gym badges)
  • Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald:Dives underwater the 1st turn, then attacks next turn.
  • FireRed, LeafGreen:The user dives underwater on the first turn and strikes next turn.
  • Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold, SoulSilver:A charging attack that may also leave the foe confused. It can also be used to scale rocky walls.
